Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced area of a diverse and complex business and make a real impact. You will role play a crucial part in developing, launching and maintaining the Own Brand product range for stores throughout the UK. You will work closely with the Own Brand category team to develop innovate new and exciting products, their packaging and the promotional process that supports their launch in to the UK market. Working cross-functionally with all of the Buying / Category teams, you will have heavy involvement in the manufacturer briefing process.
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants for this role could come from either a retail or an FMCG background. If retail, you will have Retail own brand category development experience. If FMCG, you could be a Brand Manager or a Marketing Manager where you will have a strong Product Development focus and a proven track record of bringing innovative and winning products to market. You will have a proven track record of utilising market data and competitor insight to steer decisions on product development, ranging and pricing. You will be an excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills who can manage multiple stakeholders at once.
