A food business with a rich FMCG pedigree, instantly familiar British brands and high quality own label offering. Due to an internal promotion, our client now requires a National Account Manager to join immediately and manage their recognised product portfolio within the grocery channel.
Reporting to the National Account Controller, the National Account Manager will be responsible for developing & implementing annual account plans and working closely with the senior leadership team to develop a long term strategy for growing branded and own label sales across major multiple accounts including: Asda, Morrison & Waitrose. In this role you will be accountable for:
- Creating and delivering tailored customer plans.
- Promotional pricing and instore activation.
- Full accountability for customer Profit & Loss statement.
- Data insight and forecasting.
The selected candidate will be degree educated and be able to demonstrate that they can balance a wide variety of tasks in their lives. You will have a desire to learn and understand new challenges in a logical manner. You are a winner and can give multiple examples of leadership in business and personal life. Currently you work with a UK & Ireland leading retailer, or have experience within the FMCG industry as a buyer working for a leading retailer.
