MacGregor Black is currently working on an opportunity with a globally recognised and well-respected FMCG manufacturer, based in the Yorkshire, to find a high profile Category Manager.

This Category Manager will drive the category agenda for the second largest customer in the UK organisation. You must be analytical, commercially astute and highly ambitious to succeed in this high-profile role.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years category marketing experience within a recognised food and drink supplier. Customer facing category experience with a major grocery retailer is essential for this level of role.

What is expected of you:


* Lead the category function within a major customer base - Asda
* Work closely with the Sales and Shoppper teams to create a compelling category argument
* Strengthen customer relationships by alligning external & internal stakeholders
* Strategically Support the Northern Mults business unit to grow its relationships to no.1 in the category

On offer to the successful candidate is the opportunity to work with a portfolio of category leading FMCG brands. Base salary Circa £50,000 + Company Car, also includes Private Medical Care, Pension, Company Bonus.
