National Account Manager with Development | UK autonomous SME as part of Global Leader
Our client, with head office in New York has established a strong plan to grow its market within Europe from a platform based in beautiful WEST YORKSHIRE. This £multimillion international supplier of brand and own label personal gifting and consumer products has become recognised across the UK as a leader in the retail and high street markets. This has been achieved through close customer contact and innovation to meet consumer needs. As part of their growth the business now seeks to appoint a national account manager to assist in the growth of their existing and new customers across multiples, high street and discount channels.
You will join as part of a close knit team where relationships and delivery are key measures of success. Expectations are that you will have daily involvement with customers to identify new range extensions and upgrades whilst attending to pricing and costing structures within the category. Experience managing third party logistics and international customers would be an advantage with this role to assist in the sourcing of new products.
To be successful, you will have a history of pushing hard within your customers to win and able to demonstrate the ability to fight for market share. Substance and a commercial acumen are key. Be assured, your abilities will be stretched and tested beyond what you have experienced to date. So be prepared to commit yourself.
