An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated & multi skilled individual to lead our Head Office team in Nantwich to build on the continuing success of the most progressive Buying Group in our industry.
Prospective candidates should have a proven track record at senior management level, preferably in the food & drink sectors, with the necessary skills & knowledge to further progress the business in existing & new markets alike.

Sugro UK is a member-owned buying and marketing group of over 80 Independent Wholesaler Companies nationwide; Our wholesale members have a combined turnover of circa £1.4b and provide independent retailers, contract customers and export accounts with their product requirements. The product mix has a strong emphasis to Impulse categories and notably confectionery, soft drinks and snacks. Sugro offers a wide range of central office support services in the manner of a traditional buying group. These include the negotiation of annual LTA income; promotional support for delivered wholesale and cash & carry formats embracing impulse, convenience and discounter offers. Sugro UK also provides order capture and business/sales development to its members.
The organisation is member-owned and strategy is provided by a Board of 7 Directors. The MD is a member of this Board along with 6 elected member directors.
