Account Controller  – Health & Fitness Food Brand  

Home based with 2-3 days in South England

My brief is for a leading company in the European market for heathy and sustainable food & drink. They have a single-minded focus on health, nutrition and organic food, which is both for people and good for the environment. Operating across a number of categories they have a portfolio of well loved brands and hold a strong trading position delivering healthy growth!

We are looking for someone to lead the Commercial Management for a category leading health & fitness focused food brand across all major retailers. You will have full accountability for the Commercial Strategy & Brand Development whilst managing all Top 5 Grocery retailers. This is a chunky role; with full responsibility for managing each relationship; full JBP and full P&L accountability; but with key role in aligning the brand and company to the customer’s vision. Building on a solid platform and trade position, they are now looking for a dynamic SNAM to play a pivotal role in achieving 2018 growth plans and to strategically land NPD and develop the accounts/brand further.

In essence this will be as close to managing your own business as possible but within a highly supported company environment. Whilst being part of a large European organisation they are a fairly lean operation in the UK and we need individuals that are category-focused and strong leading cross-functional teams to ensure success. Successful candidates will come with a track-record of success within Retail Buying or FMCG account management in a branded environment and experience within the Top 5 Grocers would be a pre-requisite. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building strategic customer relationships and multi-level networking are a must.
