Our client is a food ingredients company that supplies food and beverage manufacturers across the UK and beyond. With a focus on added-value products, the business has grown very impressively in recent years. As part of the next phase of growth, the company has got one eye on the future and as such, is looking to take on and train a GRADUATE B2B SALES EXECUTIVE.

You will undergo an intensive training programme, consisting of a 3 month course - you'll spend time at a range of the company's UK sites, to experience all of the goings-on of the business during this time. You will learn all about the product portfolio, working closely with the Development team to understand product applications; you'll also be educated on the company's NPD capabilities, its customer base, its procedures and everything else that you need to know to be a successful sales person at the end of your training.

After training, you'll be based at the company's site in West Yorkshire, although you'll travel to see customers (nationally) regularly. You'll build key relationships, recognising sales opportunities to sell the broad range of ingredients within your portfolio. The company can offer great progression opportunities for strong performers.

What do you need? -

- A good degree in any subject

- An interest in the food industry

- A driving licence and your own vehicle (mileage, along with all other business expenses, will be reimbursed)

- Tenacity, ambition and the confidence to speak to new people, both on the phone and in person

- Ideally, some form of sales experience, although this is not essential if you can display all the characteristics to succeed in sales!
