National Account Manager – B2B / Ingredients

£45,000 plus full executive package and 20% bonus


The Company  

A leading dairy manufacturer based in the UK are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to join their B2B and Ingredients division. Considered amongst peers within the industry as one of the UK’s most innovative and forward thinking manufacturers, this market leading organisation have delivered over 5% YoY growth in recent years. 

This organisation is incredibly well run and is committed to investing into their future. As National Account Manager, you will be reporting into the UK Sales Director, and will have full autonomy of a range of diverse and challenging B2B accounts. 

The Role

As National Account Manager you will be responsible for retaining and developing new opportunities within an agreed portfolio of accounts. Additionally, you will be expected to develop a robust strategy that will deliver not only on existing longstanding commercial relationships, but also to achieve strong and profitable sales growth.

Other key accountabilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the organisations business in terms of product offering and internal capabilities.
  • Analysing and interpreting information relevant to products, customers, competitors and trends to develop a detailed understanding of the market and sector.
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets.
  • Undertake market research to drive both internal and external business development.
  • Strive towards developing your own skills and experience, positioning you for larger opportunities within the organisation for the future.


You shall be expected to have at least 12 months sales experience within a B2B/industrial account management role. You will preferably have experience working within dairy, however those who have worked within the food and drinks industry will be considered.
