National Account Manager - Market leading FMCG brand
The business we are representing is a fast-paced, innovative FMCG business viewed as a market leading brand in their category. The business has also recently developed a private-label product offering, proving very successful in the UK market. Part of a multi-billion pound international group they have enjoyed massive success in the UK market in recent years. The product range is viewed as a number one brand in FMCG and can be found in all major UK retailers. Our client can boast 30% year on year growth. An opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join the team, reporting into the Channel Controller, managing a major UK retail customer.
As National Account Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility for the mass market channel including margin, revenue, market share, forecast accuracy and quarterly net sales delivery. It’s important you have experience of managing a major UK customer. We are open on specific retail experience, this could be grocery or a major high street customer. You must be an excellent relationship builder and able to spot and identify new opportunities with the customer.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least 2-3 years national account management or category management experience as a minimum. Candidates from both food and non-food will be considered, our client has recently attracted some great people from major FMCG businesses. You must be numerical, dynamic, ambitious and keen to learn/progress. Experience of working cross-functionally with other areas of the business such as category, brand teams would be beneficial. The role can offer quick progression through the company upon success in the role.
