Job Description



The Event Sales Executive will be in charge of selling venue space within this hotel. You'll be responsible for successful events and maintaining and developing relationships with clients.



Responsibilities

  • Respond and qualify phone or e-mail enquiries for groups and events




  • Offer space according to availability calendar




  • Writing personalised proposals




  • Mapping local business market to discover opportunities




  • Approach possible customers to proactively develop business




  • Work towards set targets




  • Attend networking events to make contacts in the industry








Profile



The Ideal Event sales executive candidate will have:





  • Previous luxury hotel sales experience




  • Strong understanding of venue sales




  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively




  • Capable of working independently




  • Well-spoken, strong communication




  • Excellent telephone sales skills




  • Resilient and able to work in a high pressure environment






Job Offer



The successful Event Sales executive candidate will receive





  • Basic salary of £25k




  • Non-capped commission
