About our Client
Our client is a leading supplier of a variety of food ingredients / components who sell to high street food service chains and the large food manufacturers in the UK, including 2SFG, Samworth Bros, Greencore and Bakkavor. They have a great reputation for quality, which has led to some big growth over the past few years. This growth has led to them investing in their production facility to increase capacity and output. They offer a friendly and relaxed culture, where people work hard and play hard but have a lot of fun doing it! The business is very customer focused and offers lots of work on NPD to stay on top of the latest trends.
About the Role
This role will suit an existing SNAM looking to take a step up, or a NAM looking to take a step up to SNAM level with a view of becoming the Head of Sales in the future. You will have a track record of delivering account growth with key food service customers and/or manufactures in the B2B channel. You will be a dynamic self-starter who can hit the ground running and continue the growth curve that our client is currently seeing. The current team consists of 4 NAM's and a NAE. The directors of the business have a commercial bias and get involved in some day-to-day account management too. Therefore proven team management skills is desired but not essential.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the large food service chains and food manufactures with a portfolio of accounts greater than £20m annual turnover. You will have experience in managing a team to deliver increased sales and sustainable business relationships. Experience in managing a team delivering £35m+ t/o desired. You will have a detailed knowledge of key food service and manufacturers and how they operate.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum you will have to have a proven track record of growing sales and business in the food service sector or with food manufacturers.
Depending on experience / level engaged upon £50,000 - £60,000 + package.
