Area Sales Manager /Area Sales Executive
Our client is well known for its extensive ranges tools for the home, garden and DIY use. Their branded ranges are widely available across the UK retail, DIY and Merchant channels.
They are currently looking for a dynamic, self- motivated Area Sales Executive to manage a territory covering the North of London and the M25,Middlesex, Essex , Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
You will be responsible for managing existing and developing new business. You will be selling to independent DIY/hardware retailers, merchants, garden centres and wholesalers. You should have strong journey planning and territory development skills.
You should have strong presentation and communication skills together with a ‘can-do’ approach. You must be a self- starter able to work on your own initiative and be driven and motivated to achieve sales and distribution targets, maximising product sell-in and identifying opportunities for product sales training.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in field sales gained in the FMCG non-food arena ideally DIY or housewares with a proven track record of sales success selling to independent retailers.
You will be results oriented and have the ability to manage and develop a diverse customer base. You will be highly organised and able to maintain long lasting relationships with key customers in your area.
The successful candidate must live on the territory.
