My client is a UK market brand leader within their core category, the watch industry. They are innovative, forward thinking and ambitious. They have secured a reputation for great products and excellent service. In order to help facilitate further growth in their account base. The business is now in a position to recruit a Divisional Manager to their team.
As Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for managing in conjunction with the Planning Manager, the overall profitability of the Division and to operate within set sales targets. Also, to build a sales and distribution strategy to reach a minimum sales/profit target.
Key elements of the role include:
·Develop a clear and concise business strategy (existing business)
·Develop new business strategies
·Develop relationships with Marketing and planning Divisions
·Monitor financial controls
·Develop business planning methods of sales team
·Staff Management – 5 direct reports
To be considered for this rewarding and challenging opportunity you will be a proven senior sales manager within the watch industry. Being commercially minded, numerate, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, coupled with a good work ethic. It is important to that this person has an excellent understanding of Excel and a real analytical approach to their work.
People who work outside of the watch industry will not be considered for this role.
