UK Brand Manager, Soft Drinks - £40-45,000

Our client is a Global player in drinks.  Our Client is looking for a strong, commercial FMCG Brand Manager to join their well established and high performing UK team.   This role is responsible for a brand that has performed particularly well and is a key growth lever for the business.  

About the Role
The role reports directly into a Marketing Manager
 
A Brand Manager with good a good level of FMCG experience already, this role will give you a high level of autonomy and ownership and a lot of exposure to the wider business. It is an exciting time to team and this brand gets a lot of focus, resource and investment.    You will get involved in some of the company’s biggest ATL campaigns with significant spend, innovation and a good level of strategic planning as you will be responsible for shaping and owning the UK vision for future growth - defining the market opportunities and setting out a roadmap and framework to drive future growth.  You can really own your brand plans end to end from ideation to in-store execution.
  
  
Responsibilities

 

  • Full brand ownership - Portfolio management to drive growth
  • Deliver the annual plan and the annual budget.
  • To monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity and proactively recommend changes to the annual plan.
  • Strategic brand planning.
  • Defining in market growth opportunities working with insights and customer teams using a consumer and shopper insight led strategy.
  • NPD development - working with internal and external teams to bring this to market, delivering BTL communications and owning its performance in market and the P&L.
  • To work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement brand collateral for big seasonal campaigns.
  • Working with agencies to activate annual plans (ATL, experiential, PR)
  • To lead cross-functional teams (commercial & operational), providing vision and direction to ensure the effective delivery of agreed brand activities and programmes.
  • To manage brand expenditure to maximise value and ROI for the organisation and its shareholders.
  • Stakeholder management.

  
About You 

 

 

  • FMCG background – branded commercial experience.
  • Confident and commercial – you need to have had experience in managing commercial brand performance and understanding brand P&Ls and managing budgets.
  • Experience in creating and applying consumer, shopper and category insights into brand strategy and actionable plans.
  • Strong record or cross-functional project management and delivery.
  • You must have gravitas to work with senior stakeholders and business partners – a strong influencer with good relationship skills.
