The role as Key Account Manager will be responsible for a key customer for my marker leading client. The position will be vital in driving further growth potential across the UK within the optical lens category.

Client Details

Our client are a leading manufacturer within the optical industry across the UK & International. The role as Key Account Manager will report out of the West Midlands Head Office at an important time of growth across the UK.


As Key Account Manager, the successful candidate will handle the following roles & responsibilities;
  • Manage key customers within the Optical & Devices business division
  • To optimise net sales, visibility and profitability through the assigned customers within agreed budgets & strategic guidelines
  • To deliver against all set targets and business objectives within assigned customers
  • Become the customer and category expert
  • Exceed expectations whilst ensuring we outperform the market and customer growth
  • Work alongside marketing & operations in defining customer journey & successful industry relationships


The successful Key Account Manager will have the following skills criteria;
  • Experience within the Optical Industry
  • P&L experience and ability to handle JBP responsibilities
  • Exceptional face to face and a strong relationship builder
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
  • Key understanding within procurement, supply chain & internal operations
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team
  • Commutable to West Midlands
  • Degree educated
