A leading manufacturer of high quality dairy products has developed an opportunity within their team for a Trade Marketing Executive. This family owned business are a traditional foodservice manufacturer and have had huge success over the years. They distribute some of the UK’s best known brands along with own label products, and have an exciting strategy in place to almost double their turnover in the next 5 years. As one of the fastest growing divisions within their organisation, this appointment is strategically linked to their long term planning.
A Trade Marketing Executive, you will work in conjunction with the Trade Marketing Manager to develop and implement trade support activity to drive category growth in the organisations international markets.
Using sales and market data, and working with the category and sales manager, the successful candidate will identify trade support initiatives and ensure they are carried out effectively. Other responsibilities will include - planning and managing all arrangements for trade and consumer exhibitions within budgetary controls, accompanying the sales team to present trade support plans to customers and preparing relevant marketing support materials.
To be considered for this opportunity it is expected that you will have at least 12 months experience working within a trade marketing, brand or category executive role. Applicants from all food, non-food and drinks channels will be considered. You must be a hands on working professional, who has the drive and enthusiasm to develop in a growing business. Above all you must have a real passion to work within the food industry.
