National Account Executive for UK arm of FTSE 100 Company
A non-branded and own-label consumer goods manufacturer operating within multiple and high-street retailers is seeking to appoint a National Account Executive to drive business growth within their chosen categories. They have an ambitious growth plan aimed at doubling the size of their UK business over the next 18 months.
As a National Account Executive you will be charged supporting the National Account Manager to exploit the sizeable growth opportunities within the consumer goods channel. The business operates across multiple categories including stationary, home décor, bath & beauty, travel accessories and a growing range in pet accessories. You will be tasked with supporting the development of relationships with the customer by fully understanding assigned categories. As it is such a rapidly expanding product area, you will be involved supporting new product development and have exposure to the manufacturing process. Our client has multiple sites across the world, as such there is the possibility of future development within the role which would see opportunities for travel to New York and China.
To be successful you will demonstrate some experience of Consumer or FMCG account management and business development with national retailers across multiple/high-street channels. Being focused on expansion you will need the drive to succeed in a fast paced environment and require a cross functional interaction with the product team.
