National Account Manager for UK arm of FTSE 100 Company
A non-branded and own-label consumer goods manufacturer operating within multiple and high-street retailers is seeking to appoint a National Account Manager to drive business growth within their chosen categories. They have an ambitious growth plan aimed at doubling the size of their UK business over the next 18 months.
As National Account Manager you will be charged with exploiting the sizeable opportunities within the consumer goods channel with a focus on driving business growth through expanding existing product lines and identifying new business and product opportunities. The business operates across multiple categories including stationary, home décor, bath & beauty, travel accessories and a growing range in pet accessories market. The role involves a high level of product engagement and interaction with the manufacturing process to meet customer needs. Our client has multiple sites across the world, as such there is the possibility of travel to New York and China within the role.
To be successful you will demonstrate experience of Consumer or FMCG account management and business development with national retailers across multiple/high-street channels. Being focused on expansion you will need the drive to succeed in a fast paced environment and require a cross functional interaction with the product team.
