Junior Account Manager | Fresh Produce | Wisbech

We are working with a market leading fresh produce processing company looking to add some new talent to their commercial team. They are experts in processing of fresh produce into either health foods or sold pre-packaged vegetables. The business themselves are set for large expansion in the next couple of years and want to get some fresh faces into the account management side of the business to help manage different clients but also help in NPD.

The Role:

The role itself would be assisting with the day-to-day work of the account managers, whilst also being given your own set of accounts to look after and run as you see fit. You will gain great experience with retailers, within the business and in product development and market trends. Progression can be rapid within the business for the right people.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you would have the following:
A degree or equivalent in agriculture, agri-business, food or business studies. This will enable you to appreciate the fast-paced nature of the fresh produce world.
Experience in the fresh produce, agriculture or food industry preferably with retailers.
Great communication, relationship building and Microsoft office skills will enable you through the management of the account whilst being guided by a senior account manager.
