The business we are representing is a fast-paced, innovative food company that operate in an up and coming, health driven ambient product category. They have grown by over 50% in the last 5 years across the UK market and have developed an enviable reputation in the market. Despite the rapid growth they can still offer an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment with a friendly, open and fun culture. Offering predominantly a branded proposition that is now sold into the top 4 grocery and all major UK retailers, it’s a unique product offering that has found a gap in the market. A new role has been created for a National Account Manager to join the sales team managing two major grocery accounts.

Reporting into the National Account Controller you will manage 2 high profile grocery accounts depending on current experience. You will have full P&L accountability and be responsible for all sales forecasting. The role allows autonomy and the chance to work creatively to find solutions for each retailer under your guidance. You must have excellent people skills, be energetic and be a strong negotiator to make a success of the role. Our client is searching for high potential individuals looking to fast-track their career.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have at least 2-3 years FMCG experience, ideally in food but candidates from closely aligned categories will be considered. The category is fast-paced so experience of working with ambient products would help.It would be preferable to have worked in a branded product arena but not essential. Our client is very open to recruiting a National Account Executive looking to progress to the next level. You may also be a Junior NAM supporting on a grocery customer for example, viewing this as the next career step or a National Account Manager looking for a new challenge. You may be working for a blue chip business and enticed by working for a smaller more entrepreneurial, growing company with a great culture.
