Business Development Manager-FMCG food wholesaler!

£35,000-£40,000 package & competitive commission

London & South East

Due to continued growth, a brilliant opportunity has arisen for a confident, ambitious and focused individual to join the business as a Business Development Manager.

I am looking for someone with proven successful experience in wholesale food service/field sales and experience of Wholesale account management. In addition, someone who can clearly demonstrate an understanding of relationships with key players.

The role:

  • Develop and implement annual Business Plans for agreed accounts in the Wholesale foodservice sector.
  • Identify, open and develop new client accounts.
  • Maintain and further develop profitable sales with an existing client portfolio.
  • Achieve and exceed pre-agreed sales targets and KPIs across your allocated clients through effective contact and efficient selling of the Company’s products and services

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm in the Foodservice market
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of foods/ingredients and generating revenue through new sales prospecting and client development.
  • A background in foodservice or wholesale and is a natural hunter who thrives on gaining new business.
