National Account Manager – B2B Food Manufacturing
Up to 47,000 + £6,000 car allowance + benefits
As market leaders and the go to supplier within their category, my client have gone from strength to strength, growing at around 5% YOY with an impress £200M turnover. Employing around 1,200 people across the globe, they put focus on career development and excellent training, enabling employees to go above and beyond their potential. With a range of innovative products and formats in their portfolio, they offer a variety of high quality food to their customers within chilled prepared area. Due to growth, they are looking to add a National Account Manager to their highly successful commercial team.
As National Account Manager, your focus will be to develop existing accounts such as Greencore and Bakkavor. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- To retain current and develop current and new customer opportunities within specific account portfolio
- To create a robust strategy to deliver results through building strong relationships
- Maximising sales opportunities and ensure budgeted targets in relation to volume and pricing are successfully achieved
- Influences SLT discussions on the strategic direction of the category, aligned to overall DFI UK performance
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have a thorough understanding of the food manufacturing channel and understand the complexity of a commodity product. Any food experience would be considered. You must be a self-starter, ambitious and communicate effectively at all levels.
