One of Clear Edge’s most premium and respected clients is looking for a Head of Customer Relations to join their highly prestigious and esteemed customer relations team in their office based in Evesham. This family run company is well known in the industry for their illustrious and exceptional designs in the housewares industry and have won multiple awards for their products in the past.

As the Head of Customer Relations, you will manage a small team of five, looking after the service of their customers and making sure it is held to the highest standard. Outstanding customer service is key at the business and therefore, the right candidate will need to be passionate as well as commercially minded in order to manage the daily running of the Customer Service and Sales Support Teams. As the overseer of this team, you will have overall responsibility for the team and will be required to drive high standards and operational performance.

Having an analytical approach to problem solving, along with a strong commercial acumen and account management experience would serve you well in this position. A proven track record in customer service of a high standard is essential along with previous experience of managing a team. You should be able to demonstrate how you have made effective improvements to a team environment, push boundaries and approach tasks from different angles.

More important features of the ideal candidate would be a high attention to detail in all aspects of working life, the capability to manage multiple tasks and activities across the customer service and internal sales team. You will need to devise KPIs to analyse data on a regular basis in order to provide insight and create recommendations to improve standards and drive best practice.

  • People management / leadership experience
  • Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and determined
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Capable of creating and delivering strategic initiatives whilst being happy to be hands on and leading the team by example
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of being involved in new projects to support a team in a fast paced environment which is constantly changing and evolving
  • Excellent IT skills and process driven
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ideally you will have experience in a Retail / Hospitality environment
  • Ideally you will have a strong customer service background including experience of export
