My client are not recruiting for a Customer Account Manager to join their internal sales team. This role is managing existing customer base over the phone.

The client are a FMCG - Consumer Goods company based in North Yorkshire.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Customer Account Manager are but not limited to:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer.
- Contacting your customers on a daily basis to take orders and help with queries.
- Growing sales through up-selling, cross-selling and promotions.
- Taking and managing customer orders.
- Investigating your customer's sales on a regular basis and monitor any changes in
customer spending patterns. - Building strong relationships with your customers and providing top customer service.
Profile
The successful Customer Account Manager will have the following experience and skills:
- Experience in a customer centric role, ideally having managed customer accounts over the phone
- Self-motivated, ambitious and results driven individual
- Be able to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
- Previous experience working in a product sales environment would be beneficial
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Highly organised and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft package
- An interest in animals would be desired
- Be within commuting distance of the N. Yorkshire based office
