My client are not recruiting for a Customer Account Manager to join their internal sales team. This role is managing existing customer base over the phone.

The client are a FMCG - Consumer Goods company based in North Yorkshire.

Description



The key responsibilities of the Customer Account Manager are but not limited to:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer.
  • Contacting your customers on a daily basis to take orders and help with queries.
  • Growing sales through up-selling, cross-selling and promotions.
  • Taking and managing customer orders.
  • Investigating your customer's sales on a regular basis and monitor any changes in
    customer spending patterns.
  • Building strong relationships with your customers and providing top customer service.




Profile

The successful Customer Account Manager will have the following experience and skills:
  • Experience in a customer centric role, ideally having managed customer accounts over the phone
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and results driven individual
  • Be able to work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
  • Previous experience working in a product sales environment would be beneficial
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft package
  • An interest in animals would be desired
  • Be within commuting distance of the N. Yorkshire based office
