Reporting directly to the sales director, the successful Area Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the business’ presence within a given territory. Our client operates across multiple channels from grocery to retail to e-commerce. To succeed in this role, relationship building is key. This is a fast-paced, high intensity role with huge earning potential, partnered with massive promotional opportunities. This role would involve being the “face” of the company, working both in the office and out in the field, meeting with customers and clients. This is an extremely autonomous role, with the successful Area Sales Manager accountable for all of their own successes.
- Excellent organisation and a keen eye for detail
- Confident, can-do attitude
- Existing contacts within the retail industry are desirable
- Passionate and presentable
- Educated to degree level from a well-respected university
- Commercially aware, with 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Strong influencer with good negotiation skills
