Home Based – 2 Days A Week in Office
My client is a privately-owned company who have grown from selling a small range of plastic products to a successful and dynamic business with comprehensive ranges in the Storage, Gardening, Housewares, and Hardware industries, all products are manufactured in Britain. The company has grown to a £17m turnover business employing over 120 people. Due to this growth, the business is in a position to add a National Account Manager to the sales team.
As National Account Manager you will manage and develop an existing account base. They have established a strong customer base across the UK market that includes retailers such as Wilkinson’s, Dunelm and Aldi. You will have full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of existing accounts. You will be required to grow and develop the existing account base working towards monthly targets. An element of the position will be new business development, where you will prospect for new accounts.
Experience working with customers within the Discount and Grocery channel at head office level would be an advantage. The role is home based and will require to be in the office around 2 days per week in Coventry.
Experience required:
- You must already be a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager looking to step up
- You must have full P&L experience
- Experience selling into Discount/Grocery channel at head office level is an advantage but not essential
- Experience of the Garden & Leisure, Plastic storage, Housewares or DIY industries
