We have been asked to identify experienced commercial talent with extensive exposure to grocery and other customer channels to assume the lead commercial role for a dynamic and hugely ambitious health driven food business.

The business we represent has clearly caught the eye of industry press of late, driving a truly unique business proposal that drives right at the heart of current on-trend consumer demands.

Driven by a passion to drive healthy and nutritional foods to consumers across the UK, and with a particular focus on the health of young children, they have recently secured significant capital in their next round of investment to drive further scale.

Now with an established turnover, the business recognises the need to recruit strong senior commercial talent of significant calibre to lead the business through the next stage of its growth cycle and beyond.

Reporting directly to the Founder of the business, the role could carry a title ranging from Commercial Director to General Manager / Managing Director, dependent upon the level of experience of the successful candidate.

Fundamentally this role is all about working closely with the Founder to develop and execute an effective commercial growth strategy to drive brand awareness, route to market and scale.

A long-term incentive plan with the reward of equity will be in place to ensure the successful candidate is adequately rewarded for their efforts and results, in addition to any agreed basic salary and remuneration package.

The ideal candidate for the position will demonstrate a broad commercial skillset.  You will boast a successful record of driving branded sales complemented with an understanding and experience of brand marketing.

Preferably, the candidate will be classically trained before going on to achieve success in an entrepreneurial, SME food or beverage business.
