Are you an experienced Business Development/Account Manager looking to join an ambitious independent snacks business that is in growth and need to add to their already successful team?

Celebrating 25 years of business, Food Connections, based in the Midlands, is a fast-growing manufacturer of delicious bakery snacks such as flapjacks, muffins, and cookies alongside an increasing protein/sports nutrition enhanced range. 

To support our growth and build for the future, we are looking to add a strong and influential sales person to our team who is keen to develop their career and provide excellent results mainly with our B2B Sports Nutrition customers.  

The Role:

•    Development of existing and new B2B Sports Nutrition customers
•    Develop customer specific objectives which deliver further growth
•    Maximise profitability
•    Engage at all levels of the account portfolio inclusive of buying, NPD, supply chain and operations teams
•    Prepare and deliver customer product briefs for internal review
•    Be actively involved in bringing products to market
•    Work closely with our NPD, Operations and factory teams

The Candidate:

•    Working knowledge of Sports Nutrition products/brands is a must
•    B2B experience is highly beneficial (particularly Sports Nutrition)
•    Strong account management skills and commercial understanding
•    Confident relationship builder and ability to work cross-functionally
