AREA SALES MANAGER – NORTHERN IRELAND AND EIRE

First established by the Dreyfuss family in Switzerland in 1895 and now headquartered in London, Rotary Watches produces luxury timepieces at affordable prices that are sold throughout the world.  

The search is on to identify a talented Area Sales Manager able to continue the development of a network of retail partners across both Northern Ireland and Eire.

Knowledge and experience within the Watch industry – several years of which will ideally have been spent selling to independently-owned retail jewellers – will give you a great head start. Nevertheless, sales professionals with demonstrable transferable skills gained in a similar premium consumer goods/FMCG brand setting, are also invited to apply.

As well as watch retailers, this role requires you to oversee the development of departmental store business throughout your sales region. You will be adept both at nurturing long-established professional client relationships, and at proactively reaching out to new prospects.

Selling watches requires an ability to absorb many technical details, with an ever-changing array of features and benefits for each collection you showcase. You will need to be supremely confident when presenting these wide-ranging and market-leading collections of merchandise.

Your experience to date has led you to appreciate the importance of offering full retail support to your customers. You are a capable hands-on merchandiser, always striving towards the optimal brand representation in-store, and only too delighted to tutor customers in the unique attributes of your proposition.

As a consummate sales professional, you are of course customer-focused, with excellent communication skills, and a well-organised approach including superb time management skills. Your ultimate motivator, always, is achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Operating autonomously in the field, you relish working with minimal supervision, although naturally there is management guidance and expertise readily available as required; assistance you will recognise as helping to hone and improve your skills to even greater heights.
