Are you a hardworking and tenacious individual, with a go-getter personality? The Advocate Group are looking to appoint a Brand Development Manager at one of the UK’s leading spirit distributors.

This entrepreneurial company are an innovative sales and marketing specialist within the spirits sector. The brand has seen exponential growth and has big plans ahead. This is a really exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing brand and build your B2B sales skillset.
 
Primary responsibilities:
  • Target a range of businesses predominantly within the On-trade sector, independent sites, restaurants, hotels, pubs, universities
  • Working closely with wholesalers and their individual sales teams
  • 40% new business and 60% account management
  • Directly liaise with the decision makers: F&B professionals, owners, bartenders, procurement
  • Be very flexible in your sales approach and time management
  • Organise/Attend events, tastings, evenings
  • Targeted to appointments per day, your diary is your own
  • Based from home you will travel throughout the region
 
The perfect candidate:
  • Experience in the drinks category - essential
  • Sold to the HORECA sector - preferred
  • Field Sales experience/proven track record in B2B sales
  • A passion for selling, and comfortable negotiating and influencing with buyers
  • Good communication skills & the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Hunger for the role, showing keenness to progress career
  • Demonstrate an ability to plan, organise and execute activities using own initiative
  • Ran your own territory and diary, making appointments, generating leads, journey planning
