Our client has gone through a significant period of investment over recent months in preparation for an ambitious growth plan.

Already recognised as a leading supplier of choice within their respective categories, they have been preparing for their growth objectives by investing heavily in CAPEX, and strengthening the commercial team across sales, innovation, and brand marketing.  Sometimes seen on television and other major above the line campaigns, you can expect to see a lot more of this in the second half of 2018 and beyond.

One of the final areas they remain keen to strengthen is in their B-2-B sales team, where they believe growth opportunity to be one of, if not the biggest.  Already supplying to a number of other food manufacturing businesses, including several of the larger manufacturing groups, this is again an area that has been invested in to support growth opportunity.

We have therefore been asked to go to market to identify experienced B-2-B sales professionals across the food industry interested in supporting an established and ambitious business through the next phase of their life cycle.

In order to be considered for the role it is essential that applicants are able to demonstrate a successful record whilst working with recognised food manufacturing businesses.  Exposure to the large manufacturing groups including 2SFG, Greencore, Samworth Bros and Bakkavor will be a distinct advantage.

Alongside a successful record, you will have a level experience that allows you to succeed in a highly autonomous role where you will have input in to strategy and be given a great deal of ‘freedom’ to ‘get on with the job’.

With the hugely ambitious plans they have in place, the business will clearly be able to offer to swift progression opportunities to high achievers across their commercial function, with the likelihood they are recruiting for future leaders during the recruitment process.
