National Account Manager – Grocery
Our client is a leading own label manufacturer operating within ambient food and drink categories. Their ethical approach to business has seen them build successful category partnerships with 3 of the top 4 Grocery Retailers, supplying 90% of their own label products. Due to phenomenal growth in the last 2 years, they are now looking to recruit a Grocery National Account Manager.
Due to the nature of their business, the responsibilities differ from your ordinary NAM, with strong relationships a must! They are looking for individuals to drive commercial results through successful relationship building, managing bespoke NPD from concept to launch (meaning lots of stakeholder management) and implementation of a commercial strategy to retain and identify new market opportunities in line with their growth ambitions.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a sustainable growth strategy and as such will need to be extremely commercially astute. You will be operating at National Accounts level with experience managing a P&L within a retail environment. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of growth within your accounts. Own label experience is a must.
