Senior National Account Manager - Sainsbury's - market leading chilled/ambient food business
Our client is a market leading, rapidly growing food business that supply own-label and branded products across multiple chilled and ambient categories. They are renowned for high quality, innovation and have established very strong partnerships with major UK retailers. They are an ethical business with strong values, a focus on the environment and making culture of the highest importance. Company turnover is in excess of £150 million and they can boast impressive growth over a sustained period of time. As a result, we are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join the business working on the Sainsbury’s account, a key retailer for our client.
You will report directly into the current Business Unit Manager and be responsible for a high level of turnover with this customer. The role also offers the chance to manage and mentor one direct report. This person will work cross functionally with all other areas of the business, you will be key to the customer relationship. The position focuses on two specific product categories across private-label and brand.

Experience of managing Sainsbury’s would be of strong interest, candidates with other grocery retail experience will still be considered. A passion and interest for high quality food products is a must. It would be beneficial to have had exposure to managing someone.
