National Account Manager - (Premium Independents / Department Stores)

(Yorkshire)

Better Placed are delighted to be partnered with a premium branded food manufacture based in Yorkshire who due to exciting growth plans and NPD are looking to take on an experienced National Account Manager to further develop their business across a variety of premium independents and department stores on a national scale. On offer to the successful candidate presents an attractive salary with an even more attractive bonus plan and wider package. To qualify for this excited Yorkshire based role you must have extensive food or drink FMCG Sales experience operating at National Account level. Further to this, previous experience managing premium independent or department stores such as John Lewis would be highly desirable.

Requirements:

Currently working at NAM or NAE level within a branded or non-branded food FMCG environment, we are looking for a results focused, inspirational sales professional and someone who has a track record of high achievement in managing some of their companies largest relationships. We are looking for an individual with the insight, commercial skills and organisational excellence to meet and exceed agreed targets. A strategic thinker, you possess the confidence to effectively deliver account plan.

A proven track record of P&L management, budget delivery and growth momentum is essential within this role.

Interpersonally, we are looking for someone that matches the following profile:
  • Presence, energetic, innovator & clear intellectual ability
  • Strong communicator and influencer both internally and externally
  • Highly numerate, well organised and a completer-finisher
  • Ambitious and happy to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pragmatic, adaptable and willing to get your "sleeves rolled up"


This one of role requires around 2/3 days to be spent with the clients Yorkshire office so is well suited a Yorkshire based NAM looking for greater P&L ownership and a clearer route to progress upwards within their career.
