My client is family run business that has been operating at a very high level for over 50 years. They specialise in the chilled meat sector and have some industry leading, innovative products that are consumed across the globe. The business employs over 200 people across 5 sites and are have impressive growth plans moving forward, with a strong strategy in place to enable them to achieve their goals. Relationships are strong across the major multiples and foodservice customers, and with some incredibly exciting plans in the pipeline, they are looking to add a National Account Manager to their high performing commercial team.
My Client is looking for a National Account Manager to have full accountability for the foodservice channel. Some of the main accounts would be brakes and bidvest. This will be a new business led role and also to maintain the long-lasting relationship that is already in place. You will have the chance to work in grocery in the future should you be successful and want to explore that avenue. There are huge amounts of potential with this position as they are under trading with some key accounts.
The successful candidate will have key buying contacts in both wholesale and foodservice. You will be hungry to open doors and build relationship to build new business. Chilled or short shelf life experience will be highly beneficial. The products are private label so you will need to understand this in depth. There is allot of flexibility with office commitment on this one as the company will expect you to be out building business most of the time.
