This position represents as fantastic opportunity to progress a career in Business Development. In a varied role with huge scope for development, the right candidate will take ownership of internal mechanisms for converting leads from the sales team for current customers but also being a key player in identifying and converting leads from new sources.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be initially internally based at the Head Office in Central Manchester, with duties including:
  • Involvement in pricing / quotations / tendering
  • Closing sales orders
  • Development of relationships with retail customers and schools
  • Strategic planning with key internal stakeholders

The Person: The ideal candidate will have a sales and strong admin background in either an internal or external capacity and across any product category, with a proven record in growing sales. You must be pro-active, with a can-do attitude - commercially aware, with excellent communication, organisation, negotiation and influencing skills.

The Package:
£30,000 to £35,000 basic salary
Mobile Phone, Expenses paid
Pension, 22 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)

LOCATION: North West England - access to Central Manchester by car or public transport
