Botanic Lab is creating a new role for an ambitious, entrepreneurial go-getter with a track record in sales. A combination of account management, relationship building, and new account acquisition, this is the perfect role for individual keen to prove themselves and progress in a fast growing business. The role will involve some office time and some time in the field.
Responsibilities include:
- Segmenting the market and creating an action plan for targeting new accounts
- Building new customer relationships and getting Botanic Lab products into new stores, with an initial focus on independents retailers in the South East
- Monitoring existing accounts and ensuring Botanic Lab products are presented in the best way possible in store
- Implementing strategies to build rate of sale in existing accounts
- Responding to feedback from sampling teams and implementing point of sales changes to maximise sales revenue
- Meeting with and establishing relationships with store managers to create an ongoing and helpful dialogue
- Feedback market intelligence on competitor brands and report on comparisons across the sector
- Reporting to management on sales targets
- Building a sales team around you to continue to spread the Botanic lab message and build accounts
A strong candidate will have:
- A proven track record in sales with food/drink brand
- A confident and outgoing person with great relationship building skills and a natural flair for sales
- Results driven and keen to prove themselves in a small team
- Willing and able to travel and spend at least 50% of time with feet on the street
- Energetic, tenacious and able to deal with rejection
- An entrepreneurial approach, with the organisational skill to back it up
