The Role

You will be responsible for the growth of Tennis participation in the Club and Community Indoor Tennis Centre (CITC) sector. Leading and motivating a dedicated team across the East Region to help them unlock opportunities and build strong partnerships to achieve our business objectives. It is a challenging and exciting position and one that will play a fundamental role in developing and implementing the long term strategy for the Region.

About You

You will have a track record of leading and inspiring a team to perform at their best, be able to build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as prioritising a varied workload. You will have experience of working with venues to drive participation in line with business objectives – ideally gained from a sport, leisure or FMCG background.

The Team

The London, South East & East regional team will play a vital role in driving the LTA mission of more people playing tennis, more often. Supporting a population of around 22 million people, of which 2 million currently play the sport. The role of the team will be to create and deliver a long term vision for the region, in line with the LTA strategy, that will maximise the opportunity to drive participation in tennis across a real heartland for the sport.

Our People:

We thought you might like to hear from our colleagues working in the regional team what appeals about working for the LTA;

“Having recently joined the LTA in a similar role I can highly recommend this post for someone who is seeking an ambitious new challenge. In the short time I’ve been here my career has accelerated far faster than I could have imagined taking on a wide range of responsibilities whilst accelerating my knowledge of the tennis landscape”.

What strikes me the most about the LTA is the positive culture and values that all the staff uphold and how this translates across the business and networks beyond. The LTA is a fast-paced but enjoyable environment that helps people develop their strengths, and learn to fill gaps in skills they maybe have been missing. It is a patient business that expects its employees to bring their best and become even better.” – Graham: Lead Community Business Partner, East

“The LTA is an exciting company to work for, with a warm and friendly team - there are a number of employees who have worked in both the Regional and National teams for over 10 years. There are also opportunities for personal development and progression in the future, we look forward to you hopefully joining our team soon.” – Carrera:  Lead Community Business Partner, South East
