Junior Category Marketing Manager | Fresh Produce | £DOE
We are working with one of the world's largest fresh produce and chilled food businesses who are looking to add to their thriving category department with a junior member looking to get their teeth into the fast-moving world of fresh food categories.
This role would see you take on marketing support for one of the key categories that this business deals in. This will involve you liaising with the Insights team and external consultants, completing weekly sample schedule and budget. You would also be keeping an eye on the competitor shop feed of weekly retail prices and promotional data which will keep you very much in tune with the market movements and retail market place. This will lead to providing market reports based on available EPOS, customer and retail panel data sources on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
In this role you will also become 'category champion' for a selected retail account which will depend on your experience and level.
To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities:
Educated to degree or equivalent level qualification and/or good levels of experience in the FMCG, fresh produce or fresh food sector.
A great level of Microsoft Office experience with exceptional Excel experience.
A fantastic working understanding of market data, insight tools and experience of qualitative & quantitative research.
Any experience with Kantar, IRI or retailer software is desirable along with any experience with top four grocery retailers.
