Category Manager | Fresh food | Innovative

We are currently working with a large and highly respected fresh food business based in Lincolnshire. They are looking to strengthen their Category Management team, with the appointment of a Category Manager. This person will be a key member of the Commercial team and will be responsible for providing key consumer and category insight and consumer led marketing within their specific areas.

The Role of Category Manager:

Interpreting sales, promotional and market data, in order to provide the Commercial teams with key analysis and category insight.
Pulling together customer presentations for the Commercial team, focusing on key areas of the range.
Providing clear and concise communication to the broader business, ensuring that category opportunities and threats are quickly highlighted.
Will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing the delivery and implementation of category plans with key customers.

The Candidate:

Will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a category/marketing role, ideally within a chilled food environment.
Will have an effective and efficient presentation style, in order to deliver information in the most concise and understandable way.
Will be able to work as part of a close knit team and understand the value this can add.
You will possess a good working knowledge of Dunnhumby, along with other data sources as well.
