Supply Chain Manager/Account Exec | Fresh Produce | £DOE

This is a very different and interesting role, working with a very well respected and retail focused fresh produce business based in Lincolnshire. The business is looking to take on a person who can really get involved with these two sectors and thrive within a growing business.

The Role:

This opportunity will see you splitting your time between Supply Chain Manager and Account Executive (about 60/40 supply chain).
The supply chain aspect of this role will be centred around cost savings, generated through the end to end supply chain that this fresh produce business offers its clients. You will also be out at one of the top 4 retailers HQ for 1 day a week, working with their Commercial, Central Promotions and Supply Chain teams monitoring KPI's wastage and stock holdings.
The Account Executive side of the role will be based around preparing reports for other Account Managers and collaborating with the NPD teams to develop innovative product concepts. You would also be liaising with the Senior National Account Managers to help with promotion and forecasting and also covering their roles as required by the business.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this varied and exciting role you will have:
Strong analytical skills which will enable you to understand and work through the data provided and KPI's, also understanding P&L spreadsheets and documents will be at the foundation of this role.

A great commercial background will enable you to build relationships with key individuals within the Retailer teams which is crucial to success in this role. A great working relationship with the retailer will benefit the business and your role immensely.

A background in fresh produce and fresh food is essential to understanding the nature of the product and how the supply chain will work, along with other commercial aspects.
