Our client operates with a variety of brands, supplying food products across retail, e-commerce and foodservice channels. With over 180 years of successful business behind them, they are one of the biggest players in the North of the UK, and due to the continued expansion of the company, they are looking for a fresh, new National Account Manager to join the team. Our client is a market leader in new product development and innovative ideas, growing it’s employees as successfully as it grows its product lines. This is a fantastic progressional opportunity for an experienced National Account Executive, or someone who is in the early stages of their Account Management career. 

The role:

Our client is looking for someone to manage thier Foodservice accounts, working as a ‘Business to Business’ sales professional. Due to the innovative nature of the company, this role has more of an emphasis on product launches and project management than may be typically expected of a National Account Manager. The successful candidate will also be expected to take responsibility for the more “normal” duties, such as delivery of budget and financial objectives and ownership or forecasts and joint business plans with all appropriate clients. As always, relationship building and maintenance is key, both internally and externally, liaising with both customers and the two account executives who will report in to the new National Account Manager.

The person:

  • Experienced in an FMCG environment
  • Account management experience necessary (Regional, Key, National)
  • Experience working within the Foodservice channel
  • Project management and product launches experience highly desirable
  • Out-going, motivated and committed
  • Food enthusiast!

This role is based in Leeds with a degree of travelling / flexibility to be expected. Our client is offering a highly competitive package in return for the dedication and commitment of a new National Account Manager.
