Business Development Manager (12 month FTC)

In fact, supporting people is still at the heart of everything we do.
Last year alone, we paid out £7.2 million in claims to our customers and, because we have no shareholders, any surplus profit is reinvested or awarded to community or charitable initiatives. In the last 8 years over £5 million has been donated to health and wellbeing good causes.
This new field-based role is integral to expanding our reach in the employee paid market; we are therefore seeking a business development professional with a proven track record of securing major business wins.
A key element of the role is to make and attend your own B2B appointments, therefore it is essential that you are accomplished at sourcing and developing leads within the Yorkshire business community, utilising experience to seek referrals, and a strong relationship builder.
Success will be the delivery of new cash plan sales, via our worksite sales team, from the corporate distribution channels you secure.
We’re looking for a resilient, tenacious self-starter with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed. You will be a great communicator and problem solver; with an inquisitive mind, you can think on your feet and anticipate obstacles to present appropriate solutions.
