A fantastic and exciting opportunity has just arisen for a leading player within the consumer goods/home furnishings industry. With some of the leading brands under their belt, the company are now looking to bring in a highly ambitious sales person to become one of their prestigious Area Sales Managers for the South East/East Anglian area, which has proved to be a pivotal area within the company’s success.

As the Area Sales Manager for this region, you will predominantly looking after 2 of the 5 brands under this company’s remit and will manage and maintain the independent accounts in order to maximise the sales within the territory.

With their UK presence on the up, the company now wants to close the gap between themselves and their competitors in order push themselves throughout the rest of 2018 to further grow and develop the business in the UK.

In order to be considered for the position, you must have had some form of sales experience from a background involving; large home furnishings, homeware, giftware, consumer goods. You will need to be a team player but also be able to work autonomously when needed, which will require staying overnight throughout the week in order to effectively manage the territory. Ambition is key, and a real passion for the industry will go a long way.

The ideal person will need to be located on patch, so candidates located within the South East and East Anglian territories with relevant experience will most definitely be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and maintain the territory
  • Overnight stays in various parts of the territory
  • Attendance and support at trade shows
  • Work alongside colleague on patch to drive sales

Experience:

  • Ideally 2 years sales experience
  • Located on patch (South East/East Anglia)
  • Skills across consumer goods, large home furnishings, housewares or giftware
  • Strong passion for the industry and can display effective sales skills
