A fantastic and exciting opportunity has just arisen within a rapidly growing, leading business in the sporting goods industry. The company are responsible for one of the top brands within sportswear in the UK and are now looking to bring in an ambitious Regional Account Manager to look after a key and pivotal area of the country.

Supplying their product range to numerous accounts, from Leisure Centres to Department Stores, they now want to bring in a determined and motivated person to really drive sales and close the gap between them, and their leading competitor, which in the last year, they have managed to do on a massive scale.

As the Regional Sales Manager for South Wales and the South West Midlands area, you will be predominantly looking after corporate Leisure Centre accounts in order to maximise and manage the sales within the territory through your skills in merchandising and ability to impact customers via aesthetically presentable displays. You will also use your product knowledge and passion for the industry to impart training upon the necessary staff.

In order to be considered for the position, you must have a strong passion for the Sports and Leisure Industries and be able to actively demonstrate this desire and enthusiasm. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to take the next steps in their career with only a few years of experience within a sales environment required. The ideal candidate would be located within the Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Gloucestershire area but this does not mean candidates just outside this area will not be considered.

Point on the role:

  • Regional Account Manager
  • Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Gloucestershire based ideally
  • Corporate Leisure Centre account base
  • Implements agreed actions for Corporate Leisure Groups and agreed by the Sales Manager

Duties and Key responsibilities:

  • Stock and order inventory management at site level with detailed call reports
  • Merchandising and training support to sites
  • Forward order taking, where required
  • Implementation of account briefs from Sales Managers


  • Ideally 2 years sales experience
  • Preferably has sales experience across the sports/Fashion/Textiles or other closely related industries
  • Ideally has experience of the retail and leisure sector
  • Strong passion for the Sports/Leisure industry
  • High quality negotiation skills and financial acumen
