We are working with a major FMCG player that are investing behind their Strategic Revenue Management (Commercial Strategy) function to increase capability critical for driving long term sustainable growth. As a result we are actively looking for a Commercial Strategy Manager - Pricing & Pack who will develop the local market price, portfolio and pack strategies across a portfolio of brands. This in turn will translate into a ‘playbook’ which is used to engage Sales behind the Strategic Revenue Management strategy.
The Commercial Strategy Manager is a key business partner and market co-pilot for Marketing. This role will give you great commercial understanding and perspective across the portfolio including P&L management, customer requirements, strategic thinking and project management. You would have a high level of influence over strategy and commercial planning with ownership of pack-price architecture and mix for growth; and work with Category & Insights to ensure all future portfolio moves are aligned to the Strategic Revenue Management long term objectives.
As a key lead in a matrix structured environment this is a challenging role that requires outstanding leadership and influencing skills across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. We would expect you will have minimum of 3 years senior commercial management experience and ideally spent some time in a MS&P / Commercial Strategy or a customer, category or marketing insight leadership role. In a challenging UK market with an ever increasing focus on driving margin expansion, these high profile roles are becoming increasingly pivotal to business success so we are looking for someone who relishes challenges and has a robust out look.
