The Role: The Business Development Manager will be targeted on developing new business with large organisations with a high level of energy usage. Offering first class energy saving solutions such as solar panelling, virtual power plants, onsite power generation and building energy control systems, the successful candidate will have a wide range of offerings to entice new clients. The Business Development Manager will be given free reign and autonomy to attack key sectors and vertical markets. You will retain all new business sales that you bring in and work closely with clients in trying to maximise their savings and in turn increasing the level of service they purchase.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales track record
  • You will have sold within the energy sector, either a product or service
  • Sales of building energy management systems, battery storage, heating/lighting sensors, solar power, metering or CHP units are all relevant
  • Professional and articulate candidates with plenty of gravitas
