Qualified Accountant required: Group Management Accountant responsible for a group of four companies.

Day to day management of finance including management accounts, board reporting and statutory accounts.

Our client is an established plc business based in Slough with operations across the UK that is responsible for providing social housing and residential lettings



Description



The Group Management Accountant is responsible for:

Day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring that the management accounts and board reports are delivered on time.

Maintaining integrity of the balance sheet and statutory accounts.

Preparing information for budget holders

Cash flow management



Provision of financial information and analysis to directors as required



Preparation of year-end audit files and liaison with external auditors



VAT returns, including calculation of partial exemption

In addition, the Group Management Accountant is responsible for a small team, their leadership development and recruitment as required.













Profile



ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1) Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA )

2) Group Management Accounting experience



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

1) Experience of Board reporting

2) Team Management experience

3) Experience working for housing business or not for profit
