Candyking, part of Cloetta AB, are the UK and Ireland’s leading provider of Pick and Mix confectionery and are now looking for a High Street/Discounter National Account Manager to join their Sales team. The successful candidate will ideally have extensive national account management experience within High Street and Discounter customers. Confectionery experience and demonstrable new business wins would be very beneficial. Knowledge of the Irish market would also be useful.

You will need to have outstanding communication skills and a proven tracker record of working alongside customers to maximise distribution and profitable sales volumes.

You should embody our core Company Values: Focus, Passion, Teamplay and Pride about our business and be able to give credible evidence statements as to where you actively demonstrated these values within a business environment. Candyking is a fast moving business and you will be expected to work autonomously, balance a varied and challenging workload and form cross functional relationships across the business.

In return we offer you a fun, focussed and fast moving environment within which to develop your skill base and make a real difference. Location is flexible. Our Head Office is in Fareham, near Portsmouth, but candidates from across the UK will be considered provided you are able to frequently travel to Fareham, York and Ireland. You should be prepared for regular travel, including overnight stays.

Think you might be able to make an impact at Candyking? Email a copy of your CV and a covering letter, which should include details of your current salary package, by clicking the 'Apply' button
Shortlisted candidates will be required to participate in initial telephone screening, before two stages of face to face interviews and assessment exercises. Please note that you must be available to attend interviews on either the 17th April or 26th April and an assessment centre on 3rd May. Candidates unable to attend these dates will unfortunately not be able to be progressed.
