Senior National Account Manager – Wholesale
Up to £55,00 + Car + Bonus + benefits
As part of a wider group, my client boast a fantastic portfolio of high quality, ambient food products, operating across both brand and private label. Their current turnover stands in excess of £180M, and they are enjoying year on year growth of around 5%. The business serve all channels, including retail, foodservice and wholesale, and their brands can be find in many households across the globe. With a huge focus on NPD moving forward, the business is at the start of a very exciting journey with lots of investment, scope and opportunity to progress and develop.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the Wholesale channel, and have a direct report at National Account Manager level. This is a hands on role and you will manage a range of accounts as well as being responsible for setting the strategy for the channel. You will be closely involved with the NPD team and a large part of your role will be working both internally, and with your customer base to launch around 5 new products a year.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is essential you have the following skills:
- Proven track record working with Wholesale customers
- FMCG background, preferably food
- Entrepreneurial mind set
- Desire to work in a business long term and progress through the ranks
- Passion for food
- Ability to work cross functionally
